Inspiron Construction is undergoing a 4,200 square foot interior renovation on behalf of the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations, located at 321 East 44th St. The completed space will accommodate the Kuwaiti Ambassador and office staff. The two floor gut renovation consists of full interior demolition of both finishes and mechanical units to accommodate the updated layout. Careful coordination has been done with the Kuwaiti Mission to protect and not disrupt everyday operations during construction, as well as with the UN schedule.
The finished project will boast a completely new interior including extensive custom millwork at nearly every partition, custom cut natural stone designs throughout, ornate specialty window screens, upgraded heating and cooling systems, cove ceilings with recessed lighting, new kitchen and upgraded reception area. Interior finishes were designed by Callison Architects to reflect a traditional Kuwaiti style. Construction has begun and will resume after the General Assembly of United Nations concludes and will be completed in February 2017.
